Nigeria just leapfrogged every other African country on the global AI responsibility scoreboard. The Global Index on Responsible AI (GIRAI) now ranks Nigeria 38th worldwide — up 42 spots from 80th in 2024 — with a score of 45.93, overtaking both Egypt and Kenya.
