The Chicago Blackhawks finally put a ring on it—figuratively—signing franchise cornerstone Connor Bedard to a five-year, $75 million contract on Saturday. The deal makes him the third-highest paid player in the NHL at $15 million per year, trailing only Leo Carlsson ($18M) and Kirill Kaprizov ($17M). Though Bedard is recovering from shoulder surgery and will miss the start of the season, Chicago has secured its future.
